Windsor High School and Sixth Form is rated 'Good' by Ofsted. Our last inspection was in May 2022 and you can read our Ofsted reports below.
Reading is a high priority
Inspectors noted that students in Key Stage 3 read weekly in tutor time and have a timetabled reading for pleasure lesson. They noted that "the Year 11 and Year 12 paired reading programme for Year 7 is significantly improving the pupils’ reading".

Inspectors saw that leaders set high expectations of what students can achieve both academically and socially and "Pupils realise these expectations".
Students are active, respectful citizens
The report stated that students are prepared to "become respectful, active citizens who contribute to society". It was noted that students "support their community by bringing in food for the local food bank or raising money for charity".
Subjects are well-planned
Inspectors highlighted that "subjects are well-planned and sequenced". Students build on their learning, applying knowledge and skills independently.
