It's Show Week!

It's Show Week at Windsor! An amazing first night for our performance of Disney High School Musical took place last night! Well done to all the students and staff who have brought together an amazing show. They have been rehearsing hard for months, including learning dance routines, learning songs, learning lines and working on the technical side of the show, such as sound and lighting. Students have also been involved in helping to design part of the set in Art Club, and our very own Year 13 band have also played all of the music for the show. 

The audience was packed out for the opening night last night, and they were wowed with some great performances from everyone on stage.  The final number,  "We're All in This Together" went down a storm with the audience clapping and signing along. 

Year 11 student, Amy, who plays one of the Braniacs said:

Rehearsals have been good, and the show was great working as a team and making sure things ran smoothly".

Year 10 student, Josh, who plays Troy Bolton, said that working on the show was:

Funny, chaotic and spectacular!"

Pupils from local primary schools are enjoying a matinee performance today, and then the final two performances take place this evening and Thursday evening.
